CEO Stamm turned on his television to channel 2 CBS NY in mid-December only to see on screen the face of MedReview’s longtime Corporate Counsel, Arthur “Jerry” Kremer. As he often does, the attorney and former 13-term NYS Assemblyman and Chair of the Ways and Means Committee was speaking to the interviewer about the intersection of politics and healthcare in New York State, especially in the post-election period with Democrats in control of Albany’s government.
He knows whereof he speaks.
Currently a partner and chair of the Municipal and Regulatory Affairs Department at Ruskin Moscou Faltischek PC and President of Empire Government Strategies, Kremer has been named one of the most powerful lobbyists in Albany by City and State magazine. A political analyst for two decades, he appears frequently on News12, Fox network and ABC television and provides commentary for The Huffington Post and Politico.
“I am often asked about the potential for changes in the healthcare industry, especially after an election,” Kremer stated. “Now with Democrats in control in Albany, the new majority’s job will be to resist cuts especially because Congress will try to do it and New York will be hurt with cuts to hospitals and adult homes.”
CEO Stamm notes that changes in healthcare funding directly impact what NYCHSRO/MedReview does for its clients. “We are fortunate as an organization to benefit from Jerry’s vast knowledge and experience.”
