(Saturday, January 26, 2019) Stamm Hears Melinda Katz’s State of the Borough Address in Queens

On January 26, Joseph Stamm was at the Tony Bennett Concert Hall at the Frank Sinatra School of the Arts to hear Queens Borough President Melinda Katz deliver her annual report on the county’s achievements and plans for the future. After being introduced by New York Senator Charles Schumer, Katz laid out an agenda that includes revamping the borough’s census count to its improve its participation in—and benefits from—the 2020 outcome; capital priorities such as education, housing, health centers, cultural institutions, technology, and security; and quality-of-life improvements such as “one continuous protected bike lane throughout Queens.”
